Banking Services - Merchant Check Verification
Merchant Check Verification is a feature used to verify if a check will pay or not. A merchant will be able to take a customer check, call Call First, enter in their ID and password, enter in the account number on the check along with the amount, and the system will let the merchant know if the funds are available in the account. This is not a guarantee that a check will clear. This service is only available for bank commercial customers.

How do I use Merchant Check Verification?
You must be setup to use Merchant Check Verification by a bank representative.
Access our Merchant Check Verification System, by calling:
870-424-3900 for the Mountain Home area
870-453-3900 for the Flippin area
870-892-1903 for the Pocahontas area
870-935-8402 for the Jonesboro area
877-992-1903 or 800-355-2202 for out of town access
At the main menu, choose the option for Merchant Services.
You will be prompted to enter your Merchant User Id followed by the * key
You will be prompted to enter your security code followed by the * key
If this is your first time using Merchant Check Verification, you will have to change your security code at this time. The requirements for a new security code are:
A minimum length of 4 numbers
A maximum length of 15 numbers
Take the option for funds verification
Enter the checking account number of the account you wish to verify followed by the * key
Enter the amount you wish to verify in whole dollars followed by the * key
(Ex: 300* = $300)
The system will let you know if the item will pay or not at this time.
The system will now offer you a tracking number which can be used to research inquiries you made by simply calling the bank and asking them to look up these tracking numbers.
